Once order is placed we will send you a email with instructions on mailing your EPIRB in for battery replacement. Please allow 5-10 for replacement and return shipment. We will not charge credit cards until your EPIRB has been shipped from our warehouse.
Programming service requires that we have the vessel's MMSI number. The vessel name may also be programmed into the unit and is recommended.
International agreements dictate that EPIRB's must be programmed for the country under the flag of which a vessel sails or of which the vessel owner is a resident in order to register the beacon with that country's SAR authorities.
