Garmin 520s for mariners with a keen eye for value, the versatile 520-series plotters deliver a lot of navigation for the money. Garmin 520s feature bright 5” QVGA color display and sounder, worldwide satellite imagery and a new simplified user interface. Like all Garmin plotters, these utilize WAAS/EGNOS-enabled GPS receivers for extreme high accuracy (typically within 3 meters).

The 520s comes with powerful dual frequency or dual beam sonar to clearly paint depth contours, fish targets, structure, etc. It’s also CANet capable, allowing sounder data to be shared with other plotter displays on your boat.

Plug in optional BlueChart g2 Vision cards to add true 3D-view detailed mapping capabilities (both above and below the waterline), plus helpful auto guidance, high-resolution photomapping detail, and “real picture” aerial photos of ports, harbors,marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other points of interest.
