Having set the standard for performance with Airmar’s highly-acclaimed, NMEA 0183 Smart Sensors, Airmar has now developed a full line of Smart Sensors for NMEA 2000 and CAN networks. They are designed to accommodate any hull type and all vessel configurations. With embedded microelectronics, the transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. Depth signals are processed right inside the sensor for improved performance in deep water as well as accurate minimum depth readings of 0.5 m (1.6’).
