SAILOR 6101 Alarm Panel is dedicated to Inmarsat C. It has one distress button for sending distress alerts over the Inmarsat C satellite network. The display shows distress alert transmission in progress and distress alerts received on the Inmarsat C network. Through the Ethernet connector you can interface up to two Inmarsat C systems.
The Alarm Panel is supplied from 10.8 - 32 V DC. The input is protected against reverse polarity. In Inmarsat C GMDSS systems it is mandatory to have two distress buttons. If you have a Mini-C GMDSS system, only one alarm panel is required, because the Message Terminal, which is part of the system, has a distress button.
The distress button is protected by a spring loaded cover to avoid unintended activation of a distress alert
The Alarm Panel can be easily installed at the conning position on the bridge
If a distress alert is initiated on a system with duplicated units, only one of the units will send the alarm
